The www.bora-bora-insider.com site was started by local residents with a passion for their island, and a desire to provide detailed information on activities and attractions. A “magazine-style” design theme based on Genesis was chosen, and content grew steadily in terms of pages and posts. A redesign was done in 2019, using the WP Jumpstart theme base.
In preparation for the Core Web Vitals update in May 2021, page load speed optimisation was needed. Mobile score was 40/100. After image optimisation and fine-tuning of WP Rocket Cache, plus Cloudflare, results were quite good.
